10 Golden Rules Internet Marketing Podcast

    http://podcast.tengoldenrules.com/

One of my favorite podcasts.  Jay Berkowitz & team have been producing quality information-filled productions since episode 1 (and it has been fun to witness the growth of a successful podcasting effort).  I just pray that the focus continues to include beginner’s interests and doesn’t get too internet marketing insider-ish!  I even make a dorky call-in audio appearance on episode 11!

    Mr. SEO Podcast

Joe Balestrino's podcasts, according to the host site text, were some of the first SEO & internet marketing related podcasts offered.  In writing this item up I realized there are a number of these programs I haven't listened to yet!

I'll update this as I find others of interest PLUS I haven't indulged in the batch of videocasts I've seen available on You Tube!

Affiliate Links & Monetization

Posted by admin on April 18th, 2008

I am not an Internet Professional.

I enjoy creating web sites that reflect my personal interests and provide a place in cyber space for sharing my “stuff” – experiences, photos, comments, and such.

The Flying Pig being a site focused on internet marketing related topics maybe is a special case, Some Pig“? Well, the same basic intent of my message applies here.

While I don’t hold to the idea that “if it is worth doing, it’s worth doing for money”, I would love to earn a bit of income doing something that I enjoy. I have been accused of being a workaholic, my gosh if it was working at something I actually enjoyed how great would that be?

I am posting ads on my sites with affiliate links. These ads represent companies that I think have offerings of value, that I have conducted business with or would like to do business with.

I am aware of some very successful web sites that are packed with all manner of advertisements. I want to keep my content sites with a mix of more non-commercial content than monetized items. Please feel free to call me on this if you find my site otherwise. I don’t want to become a banner ho!
