10 Golden Rules Internet Marketing Podcast

    http://podcast.tengoldenrules.com/

One of my favorite podcasts.  Jay Berkowitz & team have been producing quality information-filled productions since episode 1 (and it has been fun to witness the growth of a successful podcasting effort).  I just pray that the focus continues to include beginner’s interests and doesn’t get too internet marketing insider-ish!  I even make a dorky call-in audio appearance on episode 11!

Joe Balestrino's podcasts, according to the host site text, were some of the first SEO & internet marketing related podcasts offered.  In writing this item up I realized there are a number of these programs I haven't listened to yet!

I'll update this as I find others of interest PLUS I haven't indulged in the batch of videocasts I've seen available on You Tube!

I have been a fan of Jay Berkowitz’s Ten Golden Rules podcasts ever since I discovered them last year.  I even have a couple of call-in “appearances” on the show.  Maybe they can heard in the archives if Jay hasn’t edited me out!  I’ll have to figure out which episodes.

My purpose in writing this today is to note the premier of the Marketing Ropes site.  This site is an ongoing lesson in online marketing web site development.  In an earlier episode, Loukas Koufodontes called in to the podcast call-in number and volunteered to be a TGR “intern”, and be schooled by Jay in how to go about developing an online marketing presence.

Marketing Ropes is Loukas’s creation that resulted from that concept and the first lesson in site development was presented in Episode 28.

The Ten Golden Rules podcasts are great listening anyway, but the Marketing Ropes project will be a wonderful practical exercise in site development and online marketing.

Maybe the Pig can be a footnote in the history of the effort!

Hey Jeff,

I really appreciate the plug for Marketing Ropes. I’m guessing that you’re a fan of Jay and The 10GR Podcast. Jay’s a great guy and hoping to learn a lot more from him by doing this little project.
We’re actually in our infancy stage and hope to get a bunch of followers willing to learn the ins and outs of developing and promoting a website. I plan on putting up a forum as well to get some discussion from others’.
I was talking to my website partner, Chuck, last evening about the different things we plan on doing. Seeing you linking to me gives me an idea, to create a page of links to useful websites and blogs. Yours’ will be one of them. Thanks for the “Love” my friend.
Stop by the site, say hello, ask some questions and tell us what you want to see and learn next.

Best regards,

Loukas

I certainly will be visiting Marketing Ropes and recommending it to my “people” as well!

Thanks for the comment.
